Give the Gift of Adventure: TSC Experiences and Gift Vouchers

What do you give the person who has everything? Not a candle. Not another coffee table book. You give them an experience they’ll talk about for years. TSC’s Kenya experiences are extraordinary – and every single one is available as a gift voucher.

Brunch in the Wild: what it is, who it’s for, what it costs

This is the one people fall properly in love with – and yes, it’s officially called Brunch in the Wild, not Brunch in the Park, so that’s what to search for on our site. A 4-5 hour morning game drive through Nairobi National Park – lion, rhino, giraffe, buffalo, with the city skyline framing the whole thing – followed by an elegant, boozy bush brunch under an acacia tree, with real culinary theatre behind it courtesy of celebrity ‘Fearless Chef’ Kiran Jethwa: East African flavours given a refined twist, think ostrich eggs and infused Swahili chai. You’re back home by 3pm, or you can extend the day with a 4pm private visit to David Sheldrick’s to meet the orphaned elephants and rhinos and help tuck them into bed for the night. You’ll leave with a keepsake video and stills of the day, too.

It suits pretty much anyone – couples, grandparents, a family with young children, a group of friends passing through Nairobi with a spare morning – and the smaller your group, the more private and personal the whole thing becomes. Get in touch to confirm current rates and availability for your dates.

Downtown Nairobi Tour: the urban adventure most residents haven’t done

Nairobi doesn’t get nearly enough credit as a destination in its own right, and most people who live here have seen less of their own city than the average visitor does with us. One of the walks we point people towards is Nai Nami – ‘Nairobi With Me’ – a three-hour, off-the-beaten-track walk through downtown Nairobi guided by young people who grew up in the city’s informal settlements and now make their living showing visitors the Nairobi they actually know, rather than the postcard version. We build the rest of the day around whatever your group wants alongside it – markets, architecture, art galleries, the food scene – so it becomes a proper downtown adventure rather than a single walking tour. It’s a lovely add-on either side of a safari, or a genuinely good gift on its own for the Nairobi resident in your life who thinks they’ve already seen it all.

Yoga with Jojo in the bush: sunrise practice in the savannah

A sunrise yoga session in the middle of the bush, guided by Jojo, before the day’s game drive gets going – mat rolled out facing the plains, the light just coming up, absolutely nothing between you and the horizon. It’s become one of our most-requested add-ons for anyone who wants their safari to feel restorative as well as thrilling, and it makes a genuinely lovely gift for someone who’d never book it for themselves but would treasure every minute of it.

Petrol-Head Safari: for the driver who wants more

For the person in your life who talks about horsepower more than wildlife: a genuinely wild, off-the-beaten-track Kenyan safari built around driving, hosted by Flash Tundo – a five-time Safari Rally winner and the first Kenyan to win a round of the Intercontinental Rally Championship. Learn to rally drive properly, in the actual wilds of Kenya rather than a closed track, suited to all budgets. It’s unlike anything else we sell, and it’s exactly the kind of gift that gets talked about for years rather than used once and forgotten. Get in touch for current pricing, which varies by group size and duration.

Full safari gift vouchers: how they work

If you’d rather give the whole trip than a single experience, our safari gift vouchers work exactly as you’d hope: tell us a budget or a specific safari in mind, we issue a voucher for the recipient, and they work with us directly afterwards to choose dates, camps and the details that suit them. Nobody gets handed an itinerary they didn’t choose, and nobody has to guess what their in-laws would actually enjoy. It’s the single easiest big gift we sell, and it works just as well for a milestone birthday as it does for a wedding present or a retirement send-off.

Zizibow products as add-on gifts

For something smaller alongside a voucher, or as a standalone gift for the young traveller in your life, the Zizibow shop is a lovely place to look – the Let’s Go On Safari book, wildlife jigsaw puzzles, and beaded bracelets handmade by the Gill Women’s Group all make thoughtful, genuinely useful additions wrapped alongside a voucher, or as their own small gift of adventure.
